• Lisa Park is seeking her third term as a School Trustee in the 2022 municipal election. (elected in 2014 and 2018)

• currently Trustee Representative Alternate for ELL Consortium, District Parent Advisory Council (DPAC) and Child Care Task Force. 

​

• Lisa immigrated from South Korea 22 years ago and has made British Columbia her home.

 

• Lisa is a Burnaby School District (SD41) teacher.

 

• She has taught in various schools and institutions in Alberta and British Columbia.

 

• Lisa holds BA in Physical Education and BEd from University of Alberta,

 

• Lisa has a SFU Graduate Diploma (Teaching and Learning in Multilingual, Multicultural Schools) and a certificate in Leaders of Learning from Harvard University.

 

• Qualified as an Exercise Rehabilitation trainer, Lisa is an avid advocate for active and healthy living.

 

Lisa believes the public education system should provide great education for all students, their parents and families.
